TEISA’s Mandate
Our main mandate is to build new capacity and strengthen the existing institutional capacity of public and private sector institutions to co-create and co-design impactful development programmes across various sectors.
TEISA’s mandate is supported by a team of subject-matter experts who have technical expertise from working across different sectors such as health (HIV/Aids & TB), economic sector (youth and women empowerment through enterprise development), environment, human rights, governance and democracy.
The subject matter experts specialize in providing advisory and technical support in evidence-based strategic planning, qualitative and quantitative research, evaluation of development programmes and projects, accountability-based and participatory-based monitoring of programmes and projects and policy analysis.

Mission
Founding Director and CEO
Ms Lindelwa M Nonjaduka, a Founding Director of The Equilibrium Institute of South Africa (TEISA), boasts just over 20 years of professional work experience in international development, executive and legislative sectors. Her areas of expertise include Strategy Development, Monitoring and Evaluation of Foreign Assistance Programmes in the SADC region, Public Policy Analysis, Strategy Development, Programme and Project Management, Accountability-based and Participatory-based Monitoring and Evaluation, Qualitative and Quantitative Research, Strategic and Operational Support to Parliamentary Oversight.
Her past work experience includes serving at USAID/South Africa Mission under the United States government, with the main focus of providing advisory on strategy development, monitoring and evaluating foreign assistance programmes for development impact. She has also served under the South African government across the executive and legislative spheres of government as a Senior Manager/ Director specialising in Strategy Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research and Strategic Advisory on Parliamentary Oversight. She has also provided advisory in the legislative sector having served at North West and Eastern Cape Provincial Legislatures during the early years of her career.
Ms Nonjaduka boasts a multi-disciplinary academic background that enables her to navigate through different environments and government systems. She obtained a B-Com in Management and Information Systems and a Post-graduate Diploma in International Studies from Rhodes University; a Master of Management in Public and Development Management from Wits School of Governance. She has also completed the coursework component of and is currently finalising the research component of the Master of Philosophy in Development Finance offered by the Stellenbosch Business School.
